1. Don’t skip breakfast

Skipping breakfast won’t help you lose weight. You could miss out on essential nutrients and you may end up snacking more throughout the day because you feel hungry. Check out five healthy breakfasts.

2. Eat regular meals

Eating at regular times during the day helps burn calories at a faster rate. It also reduces the temptation to snack on foods high in fat and sugar. Find out more about eating healthily.

3. Eat plenty of fruit and veg

4. Get more active

Being active is key to losing weight and keeping it off. As well as providing numerous health benefits, exercise can help burn off the excess calories you can’t cut through diet alone. Find an activity you enjoy and are able to fit into your routine.

6. Eat high-fibre foods

To avoid temptation, try to not stock junk food – such as chocolate, biscuits, crisps and sweet fizzy drinks – at home. Instead, opt for healthy snacks, such as fruit, unsalted rice cakes, oat cakes, unsalted or unsweetened popcorn, and fruit juice.

11. Cut down on alcohol

    When you get big and strong enough you will eat when you’re hungry (duh) but you’re are almost always hungry and you eat because your body feels desperate for food and I mean desperate feed me right now or I’m going to eat away your muscle and you’ll regret not eating when I said so – Body…. I got to the point where I could eat anything I wanted and it would burn off so easy because my body always needed the energy to burn. I’m an endomorph by the way.

    Exactly right. Anyone can. After a while it becomes something you like to do, hopefully. Then you sort of have trouble NOT working out. Everyone needs a rest day. “Rest” is relative. 🙂 I like a little cardio maybe or bike riding, but very light so I can still heal. Just burning a few calories.

    I never understood the whole steamed chicken/broccoli thing. People always ask me why i put my body through such a strict diet, when in reality i only diet about 5 days a week and eat anything for 2 days. Good fats and vitamins and minerals before protein and stay active and your body will reward you. Having these strict diets are just for movie roles. If you want it forever than losen up and have a healthy balance.
