    By dead-hang you mean with or without engaging the shoulders? You seem to engage them, so it isn’t exactly “dead”. Can i dead-hang even if I have shoulder impingment? I feel no pain with my arms hanging like that. Even no pain doing pullups and chinups. Is there a risk?

    I can do all of these, and I do similar stuff all the time. I only have ONE complaint about it…it has KILLED my elbows. I have all types of joint problems.

    I do regular strength training too. My grip, forearms and biceps are very strong….I can’t stand how much pain this type of excercise causes me…but I’m not willing to stop.

    Pro tip from a chef … put your tomato sauce over the cooked beef and let it simmer for 10-20 minutes, with garlic, black pepper, basil and salt. Italian style, and it will taste a lot better (not to mention look a lot better).

    Chopped onion, a pinch of sugar, and parmesan cheese is also nice, just sayin ‘.
